More than just a fishing trip.

Some trips are about catching fish.

The best trips are about watching the sunrise over the Chesapeake, hearing someone reel in their first catch, spending time with family and friends, and heading home with stories you'll tell for years.

Whether you're an experienced angler or stepping aboard for the very first time, Bucktales is about creating memorable days on the water for guests of all ages.

Every good day begins before the sun.

Long before the first cast, the coffee is on and the lines are checked. The Bay is quiet then: grey water, gulls, the diesel hum of a working harbor. It is the part of the day the brochures rarely show, and it is the part Bucktales was built around.

This isn't a tournament operation. Only a captain who has spent a lifetime on these waters, a clean and comfortable boat, and a small handful of trips each week. It is a craft, and offered to guests who want to be part of it.
